WALK IN THE RAIN is an original 24” x 24” x 2” UNFRAMED Gallery wrapped oil painting. This is an incredible painting of the Bloomington Indiana bus depot. The depot has a very unique wall art on the side of multi-colored circles. Walking in the rain are different figures, such as a mom and her child. A bicyclist is splashing by. The oncoming cars have headlights lighting up the street. The outgoing car’s taillights are a ribbon of red. Storefront windows are lit up with goods as people stroll by.
The painting canvas is called a Gallery Wrap. This means it is 2” deep and painted all around, so no frame is needed. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting, which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are vivid and bright.
