SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS is an original 30” x 24" UNFRAMED oil painting on a quality linen canvas. This incredible painting is of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. In the foreground, there’s a large stand of Prickly Pear Cacti. Interspersed in the foreground are large Saguaro cactus. In the background, the Superstitions stand tall, with their characteristic deep crevices between the red rocks. The sky is a pleasing cobalt blue, with wispy clouds. This is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting, which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are muted.
