THE BEAR CAVE is an original 20" x 16”x 2 " oil painting on a quality gallery wrap canvas. The painting is of an amazing scene - a cave with a baby bear cub in the opening. In the background is the mother bear. Around the cave are branches and hanging vines. The cave concept came from the bike trail near our home. It has a cave on it. As I started to paint the cave, I imagined some bears in the cave. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the soft blues and greens, such as a pillow or a vase.
GALLERY WRAP CANVAS - The painting extends down over the sides of the canvas. The depth of the canvas is 2" wide. Since it is painted on all sides, the painting does not need to be framed.
