THE OLD FEED BARN is an original 24”x24” oil painting. This is an incredible painting! It's perfect for hanging in a living room where you want to accent the colors in this painting. The painting is of a very large feed barn. These large wooden barns are fast disappearing. In the door of the barn, a farmer and his dog are standing. Grazing nearby are a form of cattle called Dutch Belted. Where I live in Southern Indiana, farmers have this breed of cattle. We used to all them “Oreo” cows, because of the black cows with white in the middle. The kids always got a kick when they saw them. The season is spring, because the grass is such a bright spring green and there are little calves sticking close to their mothers. The big sky is full of clouds.

The painting canvas is called a Gallery Wrap and has a depth of 2". The edges are painted and no frame is needed It will come ready to hang. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
