DAMSON PLUMS is an original 8”x10” oil painting on a wood framed canvas. The painting is of a plate of deep purple damson plums. The background is a vivid chartreuse green. The contrast between purple and chartreuse is gorgeous. ThEre are five plums; four on the plate and one off tot he side. This is an impressionist painting. It will enhance many color schemes. It is painted with bold strokes and painted with thick impasto paint. The painting is done on professional canvas board. The depth of the canvas is 1" wide and is wood, as you can see in one of the pictures. Since it has wood sides, it does not Need to be framed.
