SOFT SWELLS is an original 9” x 12” oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. The painting is of a beach at midday. The sky is an amazing mass of clouds. Floating in the water is the Rescue boat, waiting to be used. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. it's painted with raised impasto paint and will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the vivid blues and cream colors, such as a pillow or a vase.
GALLERY WRAP CANVAS - The painting extends down over the sides of the canvas. The depth of the canvas is 1” wide. The sides are wood, and it's a pleasing honey oak color. Since it has wood sides, the painting does not need to be framed.
