COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN is a 16” x 12” Unframed oil painted canvas Panel. This is a wonderful painting that fits so well on the wall of any room. This is a plein air painting, meaning it was painted outdoors. It was painted at the French Lick/ West Baden resort in Southern Indiana. More than 40 painters assembled one weekend in July to paint the resorts. This painting is of the fountain. The water flows from a main fountain into a pool. There were also stone turtles spouting water into the basin. All around the fountain were beautiful geraniums. The painting is done in a very impressionist style, with bold thick impasto touches. This is a really special painting that would make a wonderful gift. The painting is done on Professional quality canvas panel that is 1/4" thick.
