JEAN’S GARDEN is a 16” x 12” Unframed oil painted canvas Panel. This is a wonderful painting that fits so well on the wall of any room. This is a plein air painting, meaning it was painted outdoors on site. Its the painting of a friend’s garden named Jean. It was a sunny day in late spring and the weather was already hot. Jean has a wonderful large garden, but I was especially struck by the little fountain and the flowers around it. There are roses blooming in the background. Surrounding the fountain are beautiful large White impatiens. In the far background are trees. The painting is done in a very impressionist style, with bold thick impasto touches. This is a really special painting that would make a wonderful gift. The painting is done on Professional quality canvas panel that is 1/4" thick.
