OAK LEAF HYDRANGEAS is an original 16" x 12" Unframed oil painted canvas. The painting depicts the French Lick Resort in late Spring. The signature feature of the French Lick and West Baden resorts is the distinctive yellow of their buildings. There is a bank of Oak Leaf Hydrangeas along the bright yellow building. The flowers are a wonderful shade of raspberry pink. This is a bright sunny day, so there are deep shadows. Some of the hedges and the grass are bright yellow green in the sun. This is an impressionist painting with bold colors.
