THE SEAGULLS is an original 9” x 12” oil painting on a wood canvas. The painting is of a beach at midday. The sky is anamazing color of seep blue, but clouds are rolling in. There are seagulls flying through the sky. One sea gull stands on the beach, as a wave comes in. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. it's painted with raised impasto paint and will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the vivid blues and rose colors, such as a pillow or a vase.
The depth of the canvas is 1” wide. The sides are wood, and it's a pleasing honey oak color. Since it has wood sides, the painting does not need to be framed. It comes wired and ready to hang.
