REDBUD TREE is an original UNFRAMED 12" x 9” plein air oil painting on a Quality canvas panel. The painting is of a redbud tree in my front yard. Plein air means to paint outdoors, on site. I saw what a brilliant magenta the redbud trees were this year and wanted to paint them. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the bright pink, magenta, and greens, such as a pillow or a vase. It comes unframed. One photo shows it framed so you could see how wonderful this painting looks in a brass frame.
