BEACH FUN is an original 36" x 36" oil painting. This is an incredible painting! It's perfect for hanging in a living room where you want to accent the colors in this painting. The background is a bright ocean in the background with large swatches of creams, yellows and peaches. In the foreground, figures are silhouetted in the bright sun. There's a mother holding her baby over the water, a child sitting in the sand with a bucket, a man and woman walking in one direction, and a couple with an umbrella walking in the other direction. Finally, there's a dog digging in the sand.
Their reflections show up in the wet sand. All of the figures are based on my family.
The painting canvas is called a Gallery Wrap and has a depth of 2". The edges are painted and no frame is needed It will come ready to hang. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
