DOGWOOD GLORY is an original 11" x 14" UNFRAMED oil painting. It's an impressionist painting of a black and white house. In the front yard is the most amazing pink dogwood tree in full bloom. In the neighboring town where I live, we have a Dogwood Festival. We live in a wooded area and have many wild dogwood trees. The wild ones are usually white flowers. Every once in a while, you’ll see a pink one or a red one.
I actually saw this house in Rochester, New York, and had to paint the beautiful flowering tree. The colors for the house are blacks and whites and the tree is a mix of a deep magenta and light pinks.This is a beautiful painting and would be perfect in a bedroom or a bathroom. The bright pinks, blacks and whites blend into any decorator's color scheme. This is a very peaceful painting.
Some of the pictures show the painting framed. The painting comes Unframed, but I wanted to you to see how marvelous it looks with a black frame. If you want the painting to come framed and ready to hang, email me and we can re-negotiate the price.
