THE GOLDEN HOUR is an original UNFRAMED 20" x 16" oil painted panel. This is a beautiful painting of an early morning landscape. The sky is a pleasing gold, as the sun rises. There are trees on either side of a river. The water picks up the reflection of the beautiful golds and pinks of the sky. In the far background, trees can be faintly seen in the fog. The river has some icy river banks and snow among the trees. This painting would look amazing in a room if you pick out some of the special colors and accent the room with pillows or a vase.
The painting comes Unframed. It is painted on a high quality canvas panel. It will need to be framed, or it can be set on a shelf or a mantle. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
I got the idea for the painting after viewing a sunrise scene in the movie “Coming Home for Christmas”.
