THE BLOW HOLE, CAPE PERPETUA, OREGON is an original 11" x 14" oil painting on a canvas panel. This is a beautiful painting that was painted plein air. Plein air means painted outside on site. This was painted at the beach rocks in Oregon. Cape Perpetua is a rocky shore with lots of places for the waves to shoot up through. I worked hard to capture the deep blue tide pool. If it were possible, i tried to also capture the smell of the ocean and the cry of the sea gulls. This is a wonderful painting that will light up any room. It is painted on a high quality archival canvas panel. Archival means the colors will stay bold and vivid.
