RED CARNATIONS is an original 8”x10”x1” oil painting on a high quality canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of some red carnations against a baby blue background . Some of the carnations cast a shadow on the wall. I painted live from a bunch of carnations I’d bought in the store. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. If you pick up the beautiful range of reds and accent them in a pillow or a blanket, it will light up the room.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
