THE FOOTHILLS is an original 9’x12”x1” oil painting on a high quality canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of a single large eucalyptus tree in front of some mountains. The sky is a bright blue with fast-moving clouds. The scene reminds me of something you would see in California or Colorado. The mountains are a mix of blues and browns. There are distant smaller trees in the background. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. If you pick up the beautiful range of blues and accent them in a pillow or a blanket, it will light up the room.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
