CRAB APPLE THICKET is an original 16”x20” oil painting on a high quality canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of a thicket of red crabapples. It’s painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. I was so inspired, I’ve painted several in his style since. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. In the background, there’s a house. The background is very misty and foggy. To the right of the painting is a spiderweb glinting in the sun . If you pick up the beautiful range of pinks, rose colors and reds and accent them in a pillow or a blanket, it will light up the room.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
