ROADSIDE WILDFLOWERS is an original 12” x 16" oil painting on a high quality canvas. The painting is of an amazing scene - a roadside stand of pink flowers, blue cornflowers, Black-eyed Susans, and white daisies. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the bright pinks, blues or whites. The painting was done in strong vivid colors with thick paint. It’s painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. I was visiting the dentist and saw these flowers by the roadside and just had to paint them.
