A PAIR OF CARDINALS is an original 20” x 16” UNFRAMED oil painting on a quality linen canvas. This incredible painting is of a pair of cardinals perched on branches. The background is a soft gray, with snow falling. The birds are the male red cardinal and the female gray/yellow bird. Cardinals stay in Indiana all winter. I love watching them. There is a commitment you need to make if you want to see cardinals all winter. Once fall comes, you need to commit to feed them during the winter. I have a lot of bird feeders outside my window and love how many bright cardinals come every day. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting, which is very pleasing.
