MY SPRING FLOWERS is an original 12” x 16” x 2” oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. The painting is of the spring flowers From my garden. one of the photos is of a bouquet of my flowers just picked. There are various shades of daffodils, yellow and white ones. Some of the white petaled flowers have yellow centers, pink centers, or orange ones. I have various groupings of daffodils in my yard. They’re a perennial that comes back every year, in spite of the deer. The deer prefers tulips to daffodils. The pansies were bought from the garden center and used to paint the flowers from life. The little blue star flowers are in another part of the garden. They’re called Puschkinias. I just combined these elements from my gardens to paint the picture.

This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the bright yellows and greens, such as a pillow or a vase. The painting extends down over the sides of the canvas. The depth of the canvas is 2” wide. Since it is painted on all sides, the painting does not need to be framed.
