ARCHES NATIONAL PARK is an original 16” x 20” UNFRAMED oil painting on a quality linen canvas. This incredible painting is of some of the red-hued sandstone formations that make up the Arches National Park in Utah. In the foreground, there’s a large stand of Prickly Pear Cacti. Interspersed in the foreground are large Saguaro cactus. Arches is the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. The sky is a pleasing cobalt blue, with wispy clouds. This is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting, which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are bright.
