THE FOURTH HOLE is an original Unframed 12" x 16" oil painted panel. This is a ‘Plein air” painting of the 4th hole at the Stone Crest golf course in Bedford Indiana. Plein air means I painted it on site. One of the photos shows my easel with the scene I painted behind it. I was actually painting while my husband was playing golf. He’s the man in the yellow shirt. It is painted on a high quality canvas panel. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. It was a fall day, so the trees were just beginning to turn colors. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
