CAT IN THE WINDOW is an original 12" x 16" oil painting on a high quality canvas. The painting is of a house with a big picture window. It’s nighttime, and the lights are on in the house. Looking out the window is the house cat. The cat’s looking for its human to come home from work. Behind the cat, you can see into the house. There’s a shelf of wine bottles and some glasses. There’s a picture on the wall. On the windowsill, a tin elephant sits. The wallpaper is visible. The cat is so anxious for you to come home. That’s the story that went through my head as I was painting. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The edges of the painting is wood. You don’t need to frame this painting.
