AMETHYST GEODE is a 6” x 6” Unframed painting on a 3/4" deep wood canvas. This is a wonderful mini masterpiece that fits so well on the office desk or a little shelf in the bedroom. This amazing scene shows the inner circle as various shades of orange. As you move out, shades of turquoise alternate with orange. A violet-colored circle changes into amethyst crystals. The outer edges of the uneven rock of the stone is next. A geode is found in many areas of the US. They appear as rough fairly round rocks. When they’re cracked open, the crystals and colors appear. When the geode is polished with a rock polisher, the amazing patterns and colors appear. The colors are Bright and vibrant.
It's amazing how much is fit into a little 6” canvas! This is a really special little painting that would make a wonderful gift. The side is wood and is unpainted. One of the photos shows what the side edge looks like. The painting doesn't need to be framed.
