MORNING IS BROKEN is an original 9” x 12” oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. This painting is about a flooded field. Some states have had so much rain this year, including us. Many fields looked this way. The sun is rising, with the sky turning from deep blue to orange to rose. In the flooded field, trees are still standing. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. it's painted with raised impasto paint and will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the vivid blues, oranges and rose colors, such as a pillow or a vase.
GALLERY WRAP CANVAS - The painting extends down over the sides of the canvas. The depth of the canvas is 2” wide. The sides are painted black, so the painting does not need to be framed.
