A DAY FOR A PICNIC is an original 12"x 24" UNFRAMED oil painting. It is a bright scene of a lake. The dark clouds are blowing by, so the day is turning out to be a nice one for a picnic. There are touches of sun peeking out of the clouds. On the opposite bank, there is a small hill. On the water's edge, there is a bank of pine trees. The water has some ripples, as the wind plays across the water. Across the lake, you can see the tiny lights of the opposite shoreline. The painting canvas is 3/4" thick and has been painted, so you don't need a frame. This is a wonderful painting that would look great over a dresser or mantle.
