CAPE PERPETUA, OREGON is an original 18" x 18" oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a view of Cape Perpetua in Oregon. I visited the area with my family and loved this scene. The viewer is looking down on a little inlet where the ocean fills when the tide comes in. Some of the inlet is in the shade, some is in the sun. The fog is rolling in, so the sky is cloudy. To the left, a large redwood is growing in the cliff. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. The painting canvas is called a Gallery Wrap and has a depth of 2". The edges are painted and no frame is needed It will come ready to hang.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
