ARCHES NATIONAL PARK is an original 12" x 12" Unframed oil painting panel. The painting depicts a big sky of deep blue with the Milky Way putting on a bright show of stars. Arches National Park lies in the state of Utah. Bordered by the Colorado River in the southeast, it’s known as the site of more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. Since there are no nearby cities, the stars are spectacularly bright. This amazing scene is painted from an actual photograph of the area. Once I saw the photograph, I knew I had to try to put this amazing scene on canvas.
