THE FIRST HYACINTH OF THE SEASON is a 6” x 8” Unframed painting. This is a wonderful mini masterpiece that fits so well on the office desk or a little shelf in your bedroom. The painting is of a blue/purple hyacinth from my garden. The beautiful flower is in my favorite blue vase. The sun is shining in the window, so a reflection of the vase reflects on the white paper. The painting is made up of various shades of blues, purples, and lavenders. The strokes are bold and strong. If you pick out one of the colors in the painting and match a pillow, vase, or throw blanket to it, it would light up the room. This is a really special painting that would make a wonderful gift.
The painting is on a high-quality professional-grade canvas art board, which makes it easy to frame. The panel is 1/8" thick.
