YELLOW ORCHIDS is an original 12” x 12” x 2” oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. The painting is of my yellow orchids. They are such a beautiful blend of lemon yellows and soft lime greens. I painted them in front of a pleasant painting, which is blurred. Next to the orchids are two of my beautiful ceramic vases. One is a deep teal color. The other is a soft sage green.
This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the soft pinks and greens, such as a pillow or a vase. GALLERY WRAP CANVAS - The painting extends down over the sides of the canvas. The depth of the canvas is 2” wide. Since it is painted black on all sides, the painting does not need to be framed.
