THE OLD PERSIMMON TREE is an original 18" x 24" UNFRAMED oil painting. This is a striking painting of a persimmon tree with a light cobalt blue background. There’s a nest of baby birds and the mother bird is feeding them. The persimmons are a bright orange because they’re ripe. I’ve included the photo I based the painting on, taken by Sandra Hudson. I see this type of scene all across hilly southern Indiana. The colors are bright and vivid. This is a wonderful painting that anyone would be pleased to own.
